Continuing the Same Quality

From the beginning, Willamette Egg Farms customers have trusted us to provide not only shell eggs of the highest quality, but also solutions. It started in 1934 when Tom Dybvad set a precedent for the way we operate today: determine the need, then fill the order.

Tom launched the business with a trip to Portland to establish customers. Once those were in place, he went about building a candling room on his parents’ farm and was soon filling orders with his eggs and other from neighboring farms. Chicken and brooder houses were added over the years; the flock was increased and production facilities for breaking eggs and product development were added. In 1985, we acquired an existing egg facility in Eagle Point OR, and in 2006 purchased another operation in Moses Lake WA.

The farm may have changed, but our mission remains constant: respond with innovation to the customer’s needs.
